Normandie or Normandy is derived from the Scandinavian word “normanz” or “northman”,
referring to the fierce Viking warriors who invaded from the north and settled in
this verdant French countryside. It’s from this region that Bénédicte (Bennie) draws
her inspiration having grownup on a Norman farm. She learned to create French and
Norman dishes in the Farm-to-Table traditionfrom her mother at a young age and honed
her skills with culinary courses and interaction with five star chefs in Washington
